Jenny (Genoveva Arias) and Freddy (Fredy Zavala) came from Tijuana to Washington with a dream and family recipes that meant everything to them. They wanted people here to experience real Tijuana style birria made the same way they grew up eating it.
They started with one small location in Burien. At first it was mostly locals stopping by, but once people tried the birria tacos, word spread fast. Social media started posting videos and pictures everywhere. The lines got crazy long and people would wait just to get tacos and consommé.

The Seattle Times even talked about how big birria had become in Seattle. A lot of places started making birria tacos, but people kept coming back to Jenny and Freddy because the food felt authentic and homemade.

Now Birrieria Tijuana has 9 locations across Washington, but the goal is still the same as when they started. Make good authentic food and share a piece of Tijuana with the community. Every taco and quesabirria still comes from the same recipes and passion that started it all.
